No Strings

Milly has been drafted in last minute to give a live TV interview on behalf of the climate movement she’s part of. Sam, her sort-of-boyfriend, excitedly shows her a just-published article where the leader of the movement has made a minimising statement about the Holocaust. As the clock ticks down and Sam encourages her to ‘go out there and big this up’, realisation dawns on Milly – a Jewish woman – about why she's been asked to step in.

No Strings is my debut short film, written and directed by me. We completed post production in September 2024 and will be screening at the British Shorts Film Festival Berlin. We are currently in the process of submitting to other festivals worldwide. In the meantime, we have been featured in the Sept/Oct 2024 issue of British Cinematographer in a spread spotlighting our DOP Helena Gonzalez.
